#128 - Timing Is Everything

[Sermon based on Esther 2:5-23]

The world tells us that "timing is everything".  However, how do we get the timing just right, since we are not all-knowing?

The answer is to place our trust in the one who is all-knowing, and allowing Him to place us at the right place at the right time.  In this sermon, Rev Reuben relates how God, through a series of events and circumstances, causes Esther and Mordecai to have just the right timing, and how His people were saved as a result.

#127 - O Little Town of Bethlehem

[Sermon based on Lk 2:1-7, Micah 5:2]

Bethlehem was a small and insignificant town in the province of Judah.  Yet God saw fit for Jesus to be born there.

This goes to show one thing -- that little is large in God's hands.

Rev Reuben goes on to cite several other examples to unveil this wonderful spiritual truth, such as Gideon, David the shepherd boy, and the young boy who gave his little lunch of 5 loaves and 2 fishes, and so on.

#126 - What Child Is This?

[Sermon based on Lk 1:35; Isa 9:6-7]

Although the Christmas story may be all too familiar to many of us, hear fresh revelations being unveiled as Rev Reuben explains the difference between "a child is born" and "a Son is given" and the 5 names of Jesus Christ as described by the prophet Isaiah.

#125 - Genealogy of Jesus

[Sermon based on Matt 1:1-17]

The phrase "the book of the genealogy of" appears only twice in Scriptures -- once in Gen 5, whereby it talks about the lineage of Adam, and then in Matt 1, whereby it talks about the lineage of Jesus.

Hear how Rev Reuben compares and contrasts the 2 lineages, uncover a hidden truth found in Gen 5, and also explain why the Holy Spirit saw fit to include the names of women of "questionable" background in the genealogy of our Lord.
